Books for Caterpillars is a new online books and stationery store that launched on the 1st of May 2023. As we are locally based, we are currently selling to folks only within New Zealand.
The points of difference with our online store from other competitors would be firstly, we are a "small shop" offering some unique products sourced from overseas, mainly China. To help achieve this goal, we have created a small shopfront with few features that encourages customers to browse at a relaxing pace and to get into the "feel" of the store, and most importantly, enjoy your shopping experience. This interaction between the customer and the bookstore creates a sense of engagement and enjoyment.
Secondly, it is important to note that most of our products are sourced from overseas with few of our books delivered locally, creating a mixture of shipping methods and delivery timeframes. The shipping timeframes for overseas products can take several weeks, between 15 to 45 days to arrive, and would be a better solution if you are purchasing goods that you are prepared to wait for.
